From fields to the campus: The siege of the geothermal power station

A company within the Kipaş Holding group has given the green light to build a new geothermal power plant in Aydın. The project, which the company plans to build right next to the university, threatens pastureland, olive groves and fig orchards, as well as the Büyük Ova Conservation Area.
