Mansur Yavaş has resigned from the CHP

Mansur Yavaş, Mayor of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, has announced his resignation from the CHP. Yavaş said, “Due to certain statements made today, I am resigning from the Republican People’s Party and submit to the public’s judgement that I shall continue my political career as an independent.”
